Our Handcrafted African Shea Butter is unrefined for maximum protection and hydration, has not been altered in any way and contains no added chemicals, preservatives or dyes. We use only pure essential oils in our scented Shea Butters. Scent: fresh mint or unscented.

Attention: We now offer refills for your shea butter jar. You can order unrefined loose shea butter of the highest quality from the same source as the one that we sell in the glass. If you haven't kept your jars then you can use our herb baskets or any other container (i.e. small jam jars) with a lid - recycling at its best! Or simply wrap your blop of shea butter in baking paper or similar and keep in a cool place i.e. fridge or bedroom. Did you know that you can use unrefined shea butter as a leave-in conditioner for very dry and frizzy hair? And that it heals cracked skin on your feet within 1 week of regular use.

If you are allergic to latex then it is best to conduct a skin test with our trial sizes before committing yourself to buying a full size. Some people with nut allergies report skin irritations when using shea butter.
